Turn off both devices and plug an Ethernet cable into the Xbox 360 and PC. This will create a local area network between the two devices. Turn both devices on.
Click on the start button on your PC and click on “Network and Internet.” This will open a window where you can manage your network connections, among other things.
Click on the “Network and sharing” button and then “Manage network connections” on the left side of the blue toolbar. This will open a window where you can see your network connections. Your “Local area connection” is your connection between your Xbox 360 and PC while your “Wireless network connection” should be your PC’s connection to the Internet. These are the connections you’ll be bridging.
Right click the “Wireless network connection” icon and click properties. This will open a new window where you can enable network sharing.
Click the sharing tab and place a check in both boxes to enable sharing from that network connection. This will allow you to bridge connections. Click “OK” to close the window and return to a list of your networks.
Hold down the CTRL key and single-click on both the “Wireless network connection” and “Local area connection.” This will highlight both connections.
Right click either connection and select “Bridge connections.” Your computer will automatically bridge the connections, allowing your Xbox 360 to share your PC’s wireless Internet.
