In Feburary 2016 03,
Launch the Windows Firewall by clicking the Windows 'Start' menu, clicking the 'Control Panel' and clicking 'Windows Firewall.'
Click the 'Advanced' tab. You should see your firewalled network connections in the 'Network Connection Settings' section.
Uncheck the network connections you want to turn off the firewall for and click 'OK' to save the changes.
Using the Command Prompt
Click the Windows 'Start' menu and click 'Run' to launch the command box.
Type 'cmd' (without quotes) and press 'Enter' to launch the command prompt.
Type the following command and press 'Enter' to disable the firewall for your network connection:netsh firewall set opmode mode = disable interface = ' interface 'Replace 'interface' (just the word, not the quotation marks) with the network connection you want to disable the firewall for.
