How to Upload HighIn Feburary 2016 27,

In Feburary 2016 27,
Visit Craigslist and select the appropriate section for your ad. In the top right corner of your browser, click 'post.'
Enter the relevant information into the fields for post title, description, etc. Click Add/Edit Images---if this option is not available, follow the alternative method in Section 2.
Click the 'Choose File...' button and locate the image on your hard drive. Craigslist allows you to directly upload four images with one post. The website will automatically decrease the size of larger images to a maximum of 300 by 300 pixels, so it is unnecessary to upload especially large images. If you want to preserve the resolution of an image without uploading large images, use the PNG file format (available as a savable format in most image editing software applications). The Craigslist interface will always reduce the size, however, so use the alternative instructions in Section 2 if your image needs to be larger.
Click 'Continue' to see a preview of your uploaded image. If the image still looks unsuitable, click 'Edit' to try a different image or follow the alternative method in Section 2.
Off-Site Images
Visit a free image-hosting website (such as Imgur, Photobucket or Tinypic). Follow the website's instructions to upload your high-quality photo. Copy the URL listed in the Direct Link field.
Visit Craigslist in a separate browser tab or window. Select the appropriate section for your ad. In the top-right corner of your browser, click 'post.'
Enter the relevant information into the fields for post title, description, etc.
Skip a line beneath the end of your description. Enter the HTML code for images into the field and paste your image URL into the source. If you do not know the HTML image code offhand, enter the following code into the description field and paste your image URL into the indicated field (between the quotation marks):
Click 'Continue' to see a preview of your post. If the image is too large or small, return to the image hosting website and use the available resizing tools to reduce the image size. Sizes around 500 by 500 pixels should be suitable for presenting a high-quality image without overwhelming your potential client or customer.

How to Upload Images to a Web ServerIn Feburary 2016 17,

In Feburary 2016 17,
Access your FTP account. You can access your web server FTP account by logging into your web server's Cpanel account and selecting 'FTP'; or by using an FTP client like Filezilla or gFTP. You'll need the username and password as supplied to you by your server provider.
Select the images you want to upload. On one side of the screen you will see a directory of the files on your computer. You can select multiple files by holding down the 'CTRL' key and clicking on more than one file (use the 'Apple' key on a Mac).
Transfer the files to the web server. On the other side of the screen you will see a directory of the files and folders that are a part of your web server account. Hit 'Upload' or the on-screen arrow key to transfer the image files from your computer to the web server directory.
Access the image files. You can now access the files by typing in the web address of where you uploaded them. For example, if you uploaded the files to a folder called 'pics', you would have to type the web address with /pics/nameofupload.jpg following it into your web browser window.

How to Create Host a WebsiteIn Feburary 2016 07,

In Feburary 2016 07,
Start with a pen and paper and sketch out a site map. The map should begin with the website's home page and branch out from there. It is similar in structure to an organization chart that shows the hierarchy of a corporation. The home page is the CEO and the other pages on the site are employees.
Still using pen and paper, sketch out what the web pages will look like. Decide what elements, such as text, images and video need to be on the pages and where each element will go.
Gather the images, text, video and other elements to be placed on the page together in one place in one folder.
Choose web design software. Adobe Dreamweaver is the industry standard for professional web page design, but there are many free or inexpensive web design programs, such as NVU Open Source Web Builder and WYSIWYG Web Builder Five, which can be downloaded at no cost. These programs are fine for building personal websites.
Working from the initial sketch, lay out the web pages that comprise the site using the web design software. Start with the home page of the site, which must be named 'Index.html.' Other pages on the site can have any name the creator wants.
Using the site map as a guide, make sure the pages of the site are linked together so that users can get from one page to another.
Preview the site in multiple web browsers. The site should appear as it looks when viewed with the web design software. If any page does not look the same in a browser as it does when viewed with the web design software, edit the page until the problem is solved.
Hosting a Website
Register a domain name at Register.com or a similar service.
Decide what kind of web hosting package is needed. Prices range from around seven dollars a month for basic service to thirty dollars a month for multiple website hosting with unlimited storage.
Purchase a hosting package.
Follow the instructions provided by the hosting company to move the completed website to the host servers.
