How to Set Up a VPS HostIn Feburary 2016 24,

In Feburary 2016 24,
Select your VPS service. Follow the link in Resources below to browse hosting packages and prices. Select a service with a plan that suits your individual needs.
Click on the 'Sign Up' link on your chosen service's website. Fill out the forms and payment options as prompted. When you are done, wait for the service to process your application. When the service has created your account and virtual private server, it will send you an email with your login credentials.
Navigate to your chosen service's website, click 'My Account' and log in to your account with your user name and password. The first time you log in, the service will ask you to make some choices to configure your server. You will be prompted to make these selections after you log in.
Select your kernel. Most VPS services will offer a variety of Linux kernels to install on your server. If you know which kernel you want to run, select it. If you are unsure, choosing the Ubuntu kernel is a safe choice.
Select the size of your first partition. When you signed up for the VPS service, you chose a plan with a certain amount of disk space. You can choose to dedicate all of this space to a single partition. If you want to host multiple websites from your VPS, you can also choose to make a smaller first partition and then create more partitions from the remaining space.
Write down the IP address of each of your VPS partitions. These will be displayed on your account page. If you created only one partition, then you will have only one IP address.
Open a program on your computer capable of running the Secure Shell (SSH). If you are on Linux or Mac OS X, then this will be your Terminal application. If you are on Windows, download PuTTY (see Resources).
Type 'ssh root@your-partition's-ip-address' into your SSH-capable application, and press 'Enter' to access your VPS. Type in your account's password when prompted. After this, you will be logged in to your VPS, ready to install your server software and configure it to your needs.

How to Manage a Clothing StoreIn Feburary 2016 22,

In Feburary 2016 22,
Decide what kind of clothes you want to sell in your boutique. Of course, managers make this decision with owners. Having a marketing or fashion merchandising education is very beneficial to clothing store managers, since market research determines the kind of clothes your store is most likely to sell.
Set the prices for your merchandise. Again, owners will participate in this decision. Clothing store managers must take factors like mark-ups, pricing margins, strategic pricing techniques and discounts into account when they price the clothes and accessories in their stores.
Hire and manage staff. Usually, hiring and day-to-day management of employees are the sole responsibility of the managers. A clothing store manager must become well versed in interview techniques, performance evaluation, effective scheduling, conflict resolution and basic employment law.
Prevent theft and merchandise loss. In addition to employing theft-prevention methods like electronic tags and store surveillance, clothing store managers must take measures to prevent damage to the store's merchandise.
Sell clothes. Clothing store managers must participate in the store's advertising and marketing strategies, which sometimes involves creating advertising campaigns, hosting after-hours events in the stores and initiating loyalty programs for the customers.
Keep track of and account for the daily sales. Accounting methods vary from store to store, but managers are usually responsible for keeping careful track of inventory, sales and daily percentages.

What Is the Port for Plesk? In Feburary 2016 21,

In Feburary 2016 21,
Plesk Panel is an application that serves as the centerpiece of an Internet website hosting service provider. The Web hosting server runs the Plesk Panel and allows customers to connect to their own dashboard on the server through Plesk. Once connected, customers can design websites, manage files and install new Internet applications on their pages. The Plesk Panel also allows the website host to manage customers, assign FTP accounts, enable development software and manage account billing.
About Plesk Ports
Plesk requires several different open ports, depending on the type of services you provide on the Web hosting server. For example, to allow FTP transfers, you must open ports 20 and 21. For website hosting services, you must open port 80. If you want to provide POP3 and SMTP mail services, you must open ports 25 and 110. The KB Parallels help files include a page that lists all ports and the services that correspond to each number. Determine which services you want to use to know what ports you need to open.
Opening Router Ports
Some routers provide a built-in firewall as an extra layer of protection. If you use a router on your server’s network, ensure that you open the ports on the router as well as the computer firewall. You can access your router’s administrator dashboard by typing the router’s IP address into any Internet browser address bar, on a computer that is connected to the router. From there, access the port forwarding area of the dashboard and manually type in the port forwarding rule for each Plesk port number you wish to open.
Opening Firewall Ports
The method for opening ports on the computer firewall varies depending on the type of firewall installed on your server. Firewall software allows you to configure rules and exceptions that you can use to manually open port numbers based on the services you use with Plesk. For example, if you use the built-in Windows Firewall, access the Firewall settings form the Security section of your computer and select “Allow a program through Windows Firewall.” Here you can “Add a Port” and configure the Plesk port numbers, instructing the firewall to allow traffic through for the specific services.
