How to Add a Newline Character to the End of a Line in SedIn Feburary 2016 28,
In Feburary 2016 28,
Open a terminal. The procedure to do this will depend on your operating system. Most Unix and Linux systems either open a terminal immediately on start up or have a terminal icon somewhere on the desktop. In Mac OS X, click the 'Spotlight' button and type 'Terminal.' In Windows, click 'Start,' 'Run' and type 'cmd.'
Type the following :sed '/$/G'This tells sed to search the text for all end of lines ($) and add a new line (G), effectively double-spacing the file. Alternatively, if you want to insure that there is never more than one blank line between paragraphs, change the command to read:sed '/^$/d;G' This tells sed to match only completely blank lines (^$), delete those blank lines (d) and replace them with a single new line (G).
Feed the data from a text file into sed by typing the following:cat textfile.txt | sed '/^$/d;G'

How to Change the Default Password on Your iPhoneIn Feburary 2016 12,
In Feburary 2016 12,
Launch Cydia using the icon in your iPhone's main menu. Tap the 'Search' tab and search for 'mobileterminal,' then tap the result, tap 'Install' and follow the onscreen instructions to install the MobileTerminal app.
Run Terminal to bring up a standard UNIX command prompt. If you don't know how to navigate these, don't worry; the next few steps will be all you need.
Type 'su root' and tap 'Return.' You'll be prompted for a password. The default iPhone root password is 'alpine.' Once you enter this, you'll have logged into your iPhone as root -- the most powerful, highly privileged account possible.
Type 'passwd' and tap 'Return.' You'll be prompted, twice, for a new password. Enter whatever you want. When you're done, you can close the Terminal app -- your password has been changed.

How to Rebuild Dynaco A25 SpeakersIn Feburary 2016 09,
In Feburary 2016 09,
Pry the grille frames out of the speakers, exposing the drivers. Unscrew the nameplate from the front of the grille, and remove the cloth from the frame. Using the old cloth as a sizing template, cut new cloth and attach it by wrapping it around the frame edges and stapling it in place.
Unscrew the woofers and tweeters and unsolder their connections. Send the woofers to a reputable reconer. Ask for new woofer terminal boards, original equipment cones, voice coils, dust caps and butyl rubber surrounds.
Cut the leads of the capacitors protecting the tweeters and pull them out. Hot glue new 5.1 uF capacitors in place and solder the leads back in place.
Solder the tweeter leads onto the new tweeters, observing polarity. Screw the tweeters back in place. Cut a rectangle of automotive felt to fit inside the tweeter part of the grille frame. Cut a 3-inch round hole in the felt where the tweeter will fire through. Apply contact cement to the felt rectangle and the area on the front baffle where it will fit around the tweeter and inside the grille frame. Dry to tack and apply.
Resolder the woofer leads, observing polarity. Screw the woofers back in place.
Lightly sand scratches and apply heavy Danish rubbing oil to restore the finish.
