In Feburary 2016 30,
Sub sandwiches are relatively inexpensive to purchase from your local mom and pop or national sub shop chain. Order multiple foot-long sub sandwiches in a variety of types. Then, slice the subs into 2 to 3 inch pieces, place on a platter and serve as refreshments. So you don't have to stand in line, order the subs earlier in the day and arrange a pick-up time so that they are fresh. Also, when ordering, ask the sub shop to hold off on mayonnaise, mustard, oil and vinegar and sauces of any kind. Instead, provide those items in small serving bowls next to the sandwiches. People can then add those condiments if they desire. Also, you might consider writing out little cards in front of each platter to describe what is on each sub.
Sundae Bar
If you are hosting an event where a lot of kids are attending, consider offering a sundae bar as a refreshment. Purchase basic flavors of ice cream such as vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Also purchase toppings such as whipped cream, hot fudge, caramel and sprinkles. About 20 minutes before the refreshments are to be served, take out the ice cream so it begins to soften slightly. Set out an ice cream scoop for each kind of ice cream. Also, heat the caramel sauce and hot fudge in small sauce pans and place them out in bowls as people begin to line up for refreshments. You may need to heat multiple batches of the hot fudge and caramel sauce depending on how many people are attending. Set out the whipped cream and sprinkles and invite people to make their own sundae. You can also purchase other toppings such as candy bars, crushed cookies and nuts.
Fruit and Vegetables
If you are having an event for the health conscious, then you might consider setting out fruits and vegetables for your guests to enjoy. Put together a vegetable platter by purchasing cherry tomatoes, celery, baby carrots, cucumber, raw broccoli and raw cauliflower. For dipping sauces, purchase light ranch, light blue cheese and light balsamic vinaigrette. Wash and pat dry the vegetables. Slice the cucumbers and celery to bite-size pieces and separate the broccoli and cauliflower. Arrange all on a platter and serve with the dressings for dipping. For the fruit refreshments, you can choose to set out items that can be eaten whole such as apples, peaches, and oranges, or make a simple fruit salad by combining pieces of melon, strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple. As a topping for the fruit salad, you can set out yogurt or whipped cream.
Cheese Plate
A cheese plate is very simple to put together and usually popular. Purchase several different kinds of cheese. They can be mild such as a light cheddar, or pungent, such as a bold bleu cheese. Plan to purchase 2 to 3 oz. of cheese per person if this is the only refreshment. However, that number can be reduced if your event is serving other food. About 15 minutes before serving, remove the cheese from the packaging and place on a platter. Place a knife out for each type of cheese so they do not mix. Finally in a basket, place a paper or cloth napkin and layer a bunch of crackers on top. The crackers can be of an assorted variety. Place some tongs in the basket that people can use to grab the crackers.

How to Write a Sleepover Party InvitationIn Feburary 2016 20,
In Feburary 2016 20,
Title your invitation with a clever phrase or catchy saying. Typically the title is used to explain the reason behind hosting a sleepover, whether it's a birthday party, New Year's or for the sake of just getting together. Think of the invitation title as a newspaper headline that is used to set the tone for the rest of the invitation.
Add all the necessary basic details such as who, what, when and where. The 'who' is the name of the child hosting the sleepover party. The 'what' outlines what kind of sleepover party it will be or if the party is themed. The 'when' outlines when the sleepover begins and also what time the children need to be picked up in the morning. The 'where' is the address and perhaps detailed directions for those unfamiliar with the area.
Advise the children as to what they need to bring to the sleepover party. Write this after all the basic details. For example, do the children need to bring their own sleeping bag and pillow? How about flashlights if it's an outdoor sleepover? Do they need to bring gifts or games? This allows the guests to properly prepare for a night away.
Outline briefly what kinds of activities and food the guests will enjoy at the sleepover party. This gives them some idea as to what other optional items they may need to bring. It also gives kids a chance to let the host know if they have any allergies to specific foods. If the sleepover party is a theme party, the activities will be coordinated in correspondence to that theme.
Include an RSVP date at the end of the invitation as well as the contact name and phone number.

How to Set Up a Website for a Small BusinessIn Feburary 2016 12,
In Feburary 2016 12,
Choose a domain name, which will be the unique online location for your website. Use an online site like GoDaddy.com or NetworkSolutions.com to help you determine which sites are available. The best domain names are ones that are similar to your business name and easy to spell and remember. While .com sites are the most popular, don't overlook .net or .biz domains. Try to avoid using a domain name that would get confused with a popular website or competitor.
Secure a domain name. Once you have selected the name you'd like to use for your website, you will need to purchase it at an online hosting site like GoDaddy.com or DotEasy.com. You should also consider purchasing any related website names, such as .org, .net and .biz domains, to avoid confusion if someone sets up a website with a similar name to the one you have chosen for your business.
Purchase a web hosting package. Services like the ones mentioned above offer a variety of packages for online website and email hosting. Basic packages are available for a nominal fee. You should select your package based on specific needs, such as bandwidth, email accounts, storage needs and MySQL database need, subdomain availability and secure SLL certification. It may be beneficial to discuss your specific needs with a website designer or a web savvy friend to ensure that you purchase the best hosting package for your business.
Develop your site design and content. Before programming your website, you will need to determine its content. Information about you and your company, news items, events, blogs, photos and contact information are common components of most websites. You will also want to determine your website's navigation--how the information is presented and is accessed from one page to the next. It may be helpful to work with a professional copywriter and website designer to help you determine the best way to develop and organize content for your site.
Program your site, either using a professional website designer, an online service such as Homestead.com or iBuilt.com or an html software package like Adobe Dreamweaver. Online sites and downloadable software packages offer step-by-step instructions for website development and programming, including built-in templates, guides for downloading images and uploading content and customizable colors.
Upload your site. Once you have programmed and tested your website, you'll want to make it live. Send the link to customer and friends to help spread the word about your business. You may want to include a link for submitting feedback on your content and design to help improve your website's look and functionality.

What Is 'Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation?'In Feburary 2016 09,
In Feburary 2016 09,
Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation runs under the process name 'audiodg.exe' and is a component of the Microsoft Windows Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 operating systems. The file runs the audio engine for Windows, which allows third party code from vendor audio applications to run sound in the computer system. The process is not crucial to basic computer functions.
Process Purpose
The process ensures that additional audio through a third party vendor is not lost in the Windows coding process, therefore allowing computer users to listen to audio without interruption. The audiodg.exe process also handles Digital Rights Management (DRM), which in requires that some audio samples go through a protection process to prevent illegal copying.
File Removal
While the audiodg.exe file will not harm your computer or affect running programs, some users may wish to disable the process if the file is using too much memory or consuming available computer resources. To remove the file, launch the Task Manager, click the 'Process' tab and locate the file under the name Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation. From here, you will be able to disable the program. The process will relaunch when the computer restarts or reboots, unless you also remove it from the Startup folder.
Virus Alert
The audiodg.exe application is not a virus. However, since it's an executable file, it's possible for malware, trojans or viruses to hide inside the file name and infiltrate your system. Users can avoid potentially dangerous issues by updating anti-virus programs and running scans regularly. Also note that the Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation application only runs with Windows 8, 7 and Vista. Therefore, users who see the process on an earlier version of Windows should immediately treat the file as a virus and remove it.

How to Set Up a Proxy ServerIn Feburary 2016 08,
In Feburary 2016 08,
Set up WinProxy. WinProxy is widely used for windows-based servers which also provides Network Address Translation (NAT) and also supports HTTP, Real Audio, Real Video, FTP, Telnet, Secure Sockets and DNS. The system is popularity because it doesn't need to have any software loaded on the client's end, thereby saving time and effort.
Ensure that all the systems, including the client's systems, have been configured with TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol). TCP/IP is the basic communication language or protocol used by Internet, as well as private networks, to access the intranet (internal sites) or extranet (external sites).
Run the installation wizard for the WinProxy. You would need to initially enter the product key on the initial screen to register the product.
Select the type of Internet connection and choose the name of your connection.
Enter the user name and password of your Internet connection.
Let the automactic configuration scripts of the WinProxy run. This allows WinProxy to assign IP (Internet Protocol) addresses automatically to each device within the LAN (Local Area Network), meaning the internal connections. Each IP is unique on each device.
Follow the prompt to disconnect from your network, if you are already connected. WinProxy will then go through the verifications of each operation.
Verify if your proxy server works by having a tester or client computer test the system. The person should be allowed to get through the selected sites. Also, the proxy server should be able to check the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of outgoing requests made for Web pages. This is done by inspecting HTTP GET and POST messages. Lastly, the system should also be able to see incoming data traffic, including filtering content of incoming messages.
