How Kids Can Make Their Own WebsiteIn Feburary 2016 30,

In Feburary 2016 30,
Research various Web site hosting and design companies to fit your needs. Various sites offer free hosting and design services, while others may charge a nominal fee. A website hosting company will maintain the site on a daily basis to make sure that all links and content operate smoothly. In addition, they will be a resource for the Web site owner to go to if there are any difficulties.
Register your domain name with the hosting and design site you choose. Be sure to have a few names as ideas, as the original one you want may already be taken. A domain name is the actual web address of your site. An example of a domain name/web address would be www.mywebsitename.com.
Follow the steps of your hosting and design site to develop your own Web site. You will have a choice of various themes, colors and platforms for your site.
Upload various photos, artwork and guestbook information for your users to be able to see on your page. Many sites will have various downloads users can add to their sites for free. These downloads will enable options such as a 'visitors counter,' which will count how many people visit your site, a guestbook for users to sign, and blog or feedback section to allow users to leave comments about your site. Your hosting site will provide you the tools to add these features to your site directly, usually by a simple click of a button or by selecting certain features during the design phase of the site.
Notify your hosting and design company when your page has been finished being designed and is ready to 'go live.' This will activate your page on the Internet and allow users to access it.

Inexpensive Wedding Rehearsal Dinner IdeasIn Feburary 2016 16,

In Feburary 2016 16,
One way to have a fairly inexpensive rehearsal dinner is to hold your gathering at the fellowship hall of the church where you will be having your ceremony. Because the rehearsal is also held at the church, it will be convenient for everyone involved to have the dinner at the same place. Church reception halls can accommodate large numbers of guests and can offer all the necessary tables, chairs and utensils. You can choose from a variety of restaurants to cater your event, such as local pizza parlors, which often offer large family-size pasta dishes in addition to pizza.
Pot Luck
Consider holding a pot-luck dinner at your home or the home of your fiance. Provide a main dish, and ask each guest to bring a side dish. You might even set a theme for the dinner, such as Mexican, Italian or American cuisine. Hosting a pot-luck at your own home is a nice way to keep the evening casual and keep the expense to a minimum.
Finger Foods
Another inexpensive idea is to serve finger foods after your rehearsal. Possible food items include trays of sandwiches, fruits and vegetables, chips and dip and a cookie platter. You can serve your guests at the venue where you held your rehearsal, or you can host a get-together at a nearby park or community center.
Barbecue
After your wedding rehearsal, invite everyone to a barbecue at your home or a local park. You can grill inexpensive items such as hot dogs, burgers and chicken, and add some side dishes such as potato salad, baked beans or chips and dip.

How to Troubleshoot Network Connection IssuesIn Feburary 2016 08,

In Feburary 2016 08,
Determine whether the problem has to do with the network connection. For example, are you trying to access a webpage and your browser keeps prompting you with a 'Page cannot be displayed' error? Use a major search engine to find an alternate link to your original destination. If that works, then there is most likely a problem with the website and not with the network connection.
Check your computer's physical connection to the network. This will require you to check your data jack or Ethernet cable. Verify which port your Ethernet cable is connected to. In many cases, network connection issues can be resolved by checking to see if the correct cables are being used, or if they are plugged in the right places. In addition, you should test your router to make sure that it is working properly.
Find the network connections setting within your operating system if it's not a physical connection issue. In Windows 7, right-click the 'Internet Access' icon (appears as several vertical bars) in the task bar and select 'Troubleshoot problems.' The Windows Network Diagnostics dialog appears. When prompted what type of networking problem you're experiencing, click on 'I'm trying to reach a specific website or folder on a network.' Then enter the address or path you are trying to connect to.In Mac OS X, go to 'System Preferences' and click on 'Network.' Select the built-In Ethernet option, and click on 'Configure.'
Examine your firewall to confirm that it doesn't prevent you from connecting to the network. In many cases, your settings may be too high. You can also disable any background applications that may be running and preventing you from accessing the network. In a worst-case scenario, you may have a virus other malware that prevents you from properly accessing your network.
Contact your department's or campus technical support (IT) staff if your issues still have not been resolved. There may be something else that is wrong that needs to be addressed. Hopefully they will be able to troubleshoot your network connection issue.

Hosting Sites That Offer Streaming Video CapabilitiesIn Feburary 2016 08,

In Feburary 2016 08,
The Host Gator Web-hosting company offers third-party, iframe/object-embed streaming on all its shared, dedicated and VPS servers. However, only the much-more expensive dedicated and VPS servers allow developers to stream live content, such as from a news feed or business conference. Prices for these servers range between $250 to $400. In addition, its shared servers do not support the streaming of any Flash content.
Go Daddy
Go Daddy's shared servers lack support for streaming live video, but they do support the embedding of video files from other sources, such as YouTube or VEOH. Its dedicated servers support all video content, and its servers are much less expensive than those from Host Gator. Keep in mind, however, that the servers include weaker processors, less RAM and a cap on bandwidth.
Cirtex Hosting
Dubbed a genuine video hosting service, Cirtex Hosting offers unlimited video streaming for a minimum of $2.49 per month. In fact, the company claims that one could potentially host a site just like YouTube on its servers. The only limit would be the bandwidth, which starts at 10 Mbps with shared servers and rises to 100 Mbps with dedicated servers.
Host Monster
Host Monster supports streaming video content that is either stored on one of its servers or streamed from a third-party website. The benefit of streaming from another site is that it won't tap into the server's bandwidth. Though the site claims to offer unlimited bandwidth, its up-time is not as high as that of Host Gator, Go Daddy and Cirtex.
