Click the 'Start' button, the radio button on the task bar, and then type in 'Internet Information Services' in the quick search. Click the program link when it is available and then press 'Enter.'
Click the '+' next to 'Sites.' Then click the FTP site. You have already created this, so click the name with which you are familiar.
Click 'Advanced Settings,' beneath 'Manage Web Site' on the right-hand side of the window.
Expand the 'Connection Limits' section by clicking the '+' next to it. Change the 'Connection Time-out Seconds' parameter to whatever figure you want, by clicking the box and typing the number in. Press 'Enter.' You have now changed your connection time-out.

Launch your Web browser and navigate to the GoDaddy website.
Type your GoDaddy username or customer number and password into the text fields at the top of the Web page, then click the arrow button or press 'ENTER' to log in.
Drag your mouse cursor over the 'Hosting' menu, then click the 'Hosting Management' link under 'My Account'.
Click the 'Launch' button under the 'Control Panel' column, next to the website domain where you want to remove the landing page.
Click the 'FTP File Manager' button at the top of the hosting control panel page. The FTP File Manager will automatically open in the main, or 'root,' directory of your website hosting server.
Click the 'Upload' folder icon near the top of the FTP File Manager page.
Click the 'Browse' button. Click to select an HTML file named 'index.htm', 'index.html', 'index.php' or 'default.html' in the 'Open' window, then click the 'Open' button.
Click the 'Overwrite Files' check box.
Click the 'Upload' button to upload the file to your website's root directory, taking the place of the GoDaddy landing page.

Open the 'Start' menu and type 'Command Prompt' in the search field, click on the shortcut that appears in the search results. Type 'cd C:\location\of\files' without the quotes and press 'Enter' to change to the backup directory. Replace 'C:\location\of\files' with the folder you plan to use to back up your site.
Type 'ftp ftp.yourwebsite.com' and press enter. Replace 'yourwebsite.com' with the URL of your site. Type in your user name and password when prompted.
Type 'cd /path/to/website' and press 'Enter' to change the directory to your website directory if necessary. In most cases you will already be in your website's directory. If in doubt, ask your Web host.
Type 'mget
' and press 'Enter' to back up all your website files in the local computer. To restore them instead, type 'mput
' and press 'Enter.'

Download Hamachi to your desktop. Double-click the downloaded file to install it. Upon completion, the program automatically opens.
Click 'Power On,' and wait several minutes for first-time setup to complete.
Click 'Network,' followed by 'Create a new network.' A dialog box appears, asking you to select a network name and password. Fill in these fields, and press 'OK.'
Load 'Garry's Mod' to the main menu, and select 'Multiplayer.' Check the 'LAN' box as you set your desired options onscreen.
Press the grave/tilde key (` / ~) and type 'sv_lan 0' without the quotes. Press 'Enter.'
Have your friend open Hamachi and join your network. Have him click 'Network,' followed by 'Join an existing network' on the program. Using your network name and password, he joins your network.
Have your friend open 'Garry's Mod,' and select 'Join' under 'Multiplayer.' Give him your LAN IP address, found on the Hamachi program under the power button. Have him type this in the 'Server Address' box, and he can join your game.

Log in to your GoDaddy Account Manager (see Resources). Enter your customer number and password at the top of the page and press 'Enter.' The Account Manager dashboard should then launch.
Click 'Quick Blogcast' under 'My Products' in the left side of the page.
Click 'Manage Account' next to the domain you wish to add the favicon to.
Click 'Settings' from the 'Manage Blog' menu.
Click the 'General Settings' tab and click the 'Browse' button next to 'Favicon.'
Click the favicon image you wish to use.
Click 'Save.'

Right-click 'Start' and click 'Explore.' The Windows Explorer window opens.
Type 'ftp: //myftpserveraddress/' in the address bar on the top left of Windows Explorer, replacing the dummy address with the actual FTP address, and press 'Enter.' The 'Log On As' security box appears.
Type in your FTP user name and password, and then click 'Log On.' You should have access to your FTP files and folders on your FTP site. Windows Explorer will display the hosted files and folders on the right pane of Windows Explorer.
Move to the left pane of Windows Explorer. Browse your computer, locate your files and folders, and drag them to the right pane of Windows Explorer. This will upload your files and folders to your hosting site.
