Go to the top-right corner of the page. Click on 'Create Account.' Register by providing a username and a unique password. The account is created immediately. Your username will appear in red at the top of the page.
Resize an Image in a Wikipedia article
Go to the 'Edit' tab/box of the article in which you need to display or insert the image.
Use the syntax '{Image:Image name|thumb|caption}' where you want the image to appear. The thumb refers to the width specified already. Typically, 180 pixels is the default size.
Change the thumb-width to the size you want. For example, if you want 120 pixels, type '{Image:Image name|120p|caption}.' The image can only be as large as its original size. You can make it as small as you want.
Use 'frame' in the image syntax to maintain the original size of the image. For example, '{Image:Image name|frame|caption}.'
Specify the width options in your account preferences. Click on 'My Preferences,' the third tab/box on the top of the page.
Click on the 'File' tab/box in the 'My Preferences' page.
Set the size of the thumbnails, either 120, 150, 180, 200, 250 or 300 pixels.
Specify the resolution of the images on the 'Image Description' page. The default sizes of the width and height are 800 or 600 pixels.
Choose from the options listed. There are approximately six preferences listed for the height and width of images.

Register for a free Google account. Google is Picasa's parent company, and you'll need a Google account to create a Picasa Web Album. From the Picasa Web Albums home page, click the blue 'Create an Account' button and follow the instructions to create your free account.
Create a Picasa Web Album account by creating a Google profile, which includes the 'Photos' feature. This is where you manage and update your online photo albums through Picasa. While logged into your Google account, visit the Picasa Web Albums home page at http://picasaweb.google.com. Log in using your newly created Google account. Click the 'Yes, Create My Google Profile' button and follow the on-screen instructions to create your Google profile.
Download and install the Picasa software onto your hard drive. Click the blue 'Free Download' button and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software onto your computer. At the end of the installation dialog, leave 'Run Picasa' checked before clicking the 'Finished' button, so that the software launches automatically.
Allow the Picasa software to automatically populate with all the photos on your hard drive.
Upload the photo you wish to use in your WordPress post to your new Picasa Web Album. Double-click on the image in the Picasa software, then click the small 'Upload' button on the bottom of the screen. Customize the display information and designate an album in which to upload the image, if you wish. Click the 'Upload' button uploading the image to the server. The software may prompt you to log in again; if so, enter your Google user name and password.
Copy to your computer clipboard the direct URL of the image on the Picasa servers. Click the 'View Online' button to see your newly uploaded image in your Picasa Web Album. If you're using the Firefox browser, right-click on your image and select 'Copy Image Location' to copy the direct URL to your clipboard. In Chrome, right-click and open the image in a new tab, from which you can copy the URL.
Insert the photo into the WordPress page or post. While editing the WordPress page document, click the 'Image Insert' button above the content field next to the words 'Upload/Insert.' Click the 'URL' tab at the top. Paste the direct image URL in the 'Image URL' field, and fill out the rest of the form with your image's information. Click the 'Insert Into Post' button when you're done to insert the image into your WordPress page or post.
Click the blue 'Publish' button. Your WordPress document will publish with the Picasa photo embedded in its content.

Open up the database program of your choice. This could be Microsoft Access, SQL Server, or Oracle. Create a few sample fields, such as First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, and Zip. Then add a few sample records to test on.
Write your first query by typing out 'SELECT
FROM table_name' where table_name is the name of the table you created. This example returns every value from every field in the table within your database (the
indicates all). You can also say 'SELECT field_name FROM table_name' to select only the field_name field from your table.
Add to your last statement with the WHERE clause. The WHERE clause specifies which fields you want to return based on a certain value. 'SELECT * FROM table_name WHERE last_name = 'Morgan' ' will search for 'Morgan' in the last_name field and returns all records from the table in which the person's last name is Morgan. Note that if you are searching for a string (letters or words), you will need single quotes around the name. If you are searching for a number, you don't need the quotes.
Add to your last statement once again by using the ORDER BY clause. 'SELECT
FROM table_name ORDER BY last_name' will order your recordset by the person's last name in alphabetical order. You can also do 'SELECT
FROM table_name ORDER BY age' and it will order by the person's age (add DESC after the field name you wish to order by to list the names in descending order).
Create a new query by typing the INSERT INTO statement. The INSERT INTO statement inserts a new row into the table that you specify. 'INSERT INTO table_name VALUES ('Courtney','Morgan',14)' will add the first name of Courtney, the last name of Morgan, and the age of 14 into your table. Likewise, if you want to delete someone from your table, you will use the DELETE statement. 'DELETE FROM table_name WHERE last_name = 'Morgan' AND first_name = 'Courtney' ' will delete Courtney Morgan from your table.
Create another new query. Use the UPDATE statement. This will update a record instead of adding or deleting one. 'UPDATE table_name SET address = '555 Hollywood Blvd', city = 'Los Angeles' WHERE last_name = 'Morgan' AND first_name = 'Courtney' ' will update Courtney Morgan's address to 555 Hollywood Blvd and her city to Los Angeles.

Find out what the file is, if you're not already sure. There are three major possibilities: the PTB file could be a guitar tablature generated by Power Tab Editor; it could be a table generated by the computer-assisted design program Pro/Engineer; or it could be a backup archive created by the Peachtree accounting program. If you have either Pro/Engineer or Peachtree installed on your system, it's likely the source of the file; if you downloaded the PTB file from a guitar tab website, its identity isn't a mystery.
Obtain a program that will open the file. If it's a guitar tab file, you can download either the Power Tab Editor (for Windows) or TabView (for Mac OS) -- both programs are linked in Resources. Pro/Engineer and Peachtree files, meanwhile, require purchased programs to open -- see Resources.
Install the program. To install Power Tab Editor, right click the downloaded ZIP file, select 'Extract,' then double click 'Setup.exe' and follow the on-screen instructions. To install TabView, double click the downloaded DMG file and follow the on-screen instructions. To install Pro/Engineer or Peachtree, just insert the CD.
Navigate to the location of the PTB file and double click it to open it. If it doesn't work, run the program you installed and click 'File,' then 'Open,' and select the PTB file.
