Twitter API Password Length LimitIn Feburary 2016 27,
In Feburary 2016 27,
An API is a defined way for a program to carry out a task, the detailed set of instructions to repeatedly perform the same assignment. Because a site such as Twitter requires users to log in and provide an associated password, programmers using associated APIs to interact with Twitter can encounter username and password issues.
Password Requirements
Twitter itself has no password length limit for its users. As a result, the Twitter API similarly does not have a maximum ceiling regarding password length. The same combination of letters, numbers and characters that comprise a password for a Twitter login will crossover within the Twitter API world. Any sequence of characters -- with the exception of white space -- is acceptable.
Twitter API Uses
Programmers can turn to the Twitter API to create an application that combines Twitter's capabilities with a programmer's own site. Programmers can also use API to simplify a user's experience with Twitter on a mobile device or to provide any number of related services. In these cases, a programmer can prompt for a user to provide her Twitter username and password without the third-party program itself actually storing the password. The developers section of Twitter dedicates a portion of its space to an API FAQ for additional information.
Warnings
Even though the Twitter API does not have a password length limit, programmers who intend for their users' submissions to still interact with Twitter must pay attention to length limits when it comes to the tweets themselves, which are limited to 140 characters. The Twitter API FAQ provides an explanation to programmers on how to expedite the process of counting characters.

rcp file1 linuxhost2:/temp
Secure copy (scp) is an encrypted version of rcp. The transfer is sent over an encrypted Secure Shell (ssh) session. The syntax is essentially the same:
scp linuxhost2:/temp/file2 /var/tmp
Copy or synchronize entire directories, using the rsync command:
rsync -oupgrle ssh /local/directory host2:/remote/directory

Microsoft FTP Error CodesIn Feburary 2016 24,
In Feburary 2016 24,
Error code 426 happens when you're uploading or downloading to an FTP site and the transfer aborted. The error would say, 'Connection closed, transfer aborted.' It could mean that the connection was made in a passive mode: Your computer tried to connect to the server through a random port, but was blocked by the server's firewall. It could also mean that a firewall in your computer blocked the session. When you get this error, ensure that no firewall is blocking the connection.
Error Code 530
This error code means that FTP authentication was not successful. The combination of the username and password you've typed was incorrect, thus you were denied access to the FTP site. It could also mean a misconfiguration in IIS: You've allowed only anonymous access for FTP, but denied anonymous access for all IIS services. Verify that the username and password you used is correct or check if anonymous access is allowed by leaving the username and password options blank.
Error Code 550
This error is generated when you're downloading or uploading a file to the FTP site. When you're attempting to download a file and you get a 550 error, it means that the file you're downloading is no longer in the FTP directory. When you're uploading, it means that you do not have the right access to upload a file to the FTP site. Verifying that the file exists or that you have the proper access to put files in the FTP site eliminates this error.
Other 4xx Error Codes
Error codes that start in 4 mean that the error is temporary. Trying again at a later time and ensuring that there is enough disk space and that nothing is interfering with the connection will often resolve the error.421: The FTP service is not available at the moment. It can be because the maximum FTP connection is reached or you are not authorized to connect through FTP.425: You cannot open a connection. A firewall could be blocking the connection or the type of connection you're trying is not allowed. Try different methods of FTP connection such as having FTP software or connecting to FTP through HTTP.450: The file you're trying to access cannot be copied. Other users or programs may be using the file, causing it to lock. You can try again later to see if the file has been released.451: There was an error in the command typed for the FTP connection. Ensure that the commands you typed are correct.452: Not enough disk space exists in the hard drive that you're downloading or uploading the file. Cleaning up the hard drive resolves this issue.
Other 5xx Error Codes
Error codes that start in 5 mean that the error is permanent. Retrying will only result with the same error.500: A syntax error could mean that the command line is too long. Try either the FTP passive or active mode depending on the mode you're currently using.501: There was an error with the command you typed. You may have missed or mistyped some characters.503: The commands you typed were not in the proper sequence.504: There was an error in the parameter with the command. Make sure that the parameter you entered is valid for the command.532: You do not have the proper access to store files remotely.552: There's not enough space on the server that you're remotely saving the file. 553: The file you're uploading has invalid characters. Renaming the file resolves the issue.

How to Set Up Filezilla for Joomla! In Feburary 2016 06,
In Feburary 2016 06,
Double-click on the FileZilla icon or select it from the start menu. FileZilla will start and display the local hard disk directory structure on the left side of the window.
Enter the domain name of your website or the IP address in the 'Host' field. Do not include the 'http://' part of the address, just the domain name. For example, 'mycoolsite.com' is a domain name and '192.168.2.1' is an Internet Protocol address. If your domain name hasn't been assigned yet, use the IP address provided by your hosting company.
Fill in the 'Username' field at the top of the screen with your FTP user name. Use the exact spelling and character case as the FTP user name issued by your hosting service provider.
Enter your FTP password in the 'Password' field at the top of the screen. Use the exact spelling and character case as the password issued by your hosting service provider.
Enter the FTP port number in the 'Port' field if your hosting provider uses a port other than 21. Most users will leave this field blank as 21 is the default port. Only enter a port number if your hosting provider uses a port other than 21.
Click on the 'Edit' menu, then click on 'Settings.' Select 'File Types' under 'Transfers' on the left side of the settings window. Click the 'Binary' radio button on the right side at the top of the window. This setting ensures that binary files such as archives and backup files transfer properly. If such files are accidentally treated as ASCII files, they may become corrupted during transfer. Having this set correctly is especially important for uploading Joomla! installation files, Joomla! extension packages and downloading backup files.
Click on the 'OK' button at the bottom of the settings window to save the settings. Click the 'Quick Connect' button to the right of the host, username, password and port fields previously entered. FileZilla will connect to your Joomla! website root directory on the server and display the file structure in the right side of the window.
Click on the 'File' menu, then click on 'Copy Current Connection to the Site Manager.' This saves your settings and allows you to select them the next time you use FileZilla from the Site Manager. Just click 'File' then 'Site Manager' or press 'Ctrl - S.'
