Network Solutions: How to Upload to FTP in Internet ExplorerIn Feburary 2016 28,

In Feburary 2016 28,
Open Internet Explorer.
Type in the top search box 'ftp://' appended with the appropriate FTP address. For example, if the FTP address is ftp.Microsoft.com, type 'ftp://ftp.Microsoft.com' in the search box. The FTP address could also be a set of four numbers separated by dots, such as 127.0.0.1; in this case, type in 'ftp://127.0.0.1.'
Enter your FTP user name and password and then click the 'Log On' button. Files will appear in the open window. Earlier versions of Internet Explorer will open the FTP site inside the Internet Explorer window. More recent versions of Internet Explorer will automatically open Windows Explorer and display the FTP site in that window.
Upload Files to the FTP Site
Click 'Start,' type 'Windows Explorer' in the search box and press 'Enter.'
Position Windows Explorer side by side with the open FTP window by dragging the Windows Explorer window to the left and the FTP window to the right.
Navigate in Windows Explorer to the file you want to upload to the FTP site. Click and drag the file from the left Windows Explorer window to the FTP window. The file will be uploaded to the FTP site.

How to Run 'Friday Night Magic' at HomeIn Feburary 2016 19,

In Feburary 2016 19,
Ask yourself whether you want your Friday Night Magic to be officially sanctioned. If you want your event to be officially sanctioned, you will need to host the event in a public facility that is accessible to everyone, preferably a gaming store that can qualify for a Wizards Play Network level. You will need to find a Magic the Gathering judge who can attend the event, and you must follow the guidelines set out by Wizards of the Coast (Resources). However, if you just want to host a friendly get-together to play just for fun, keep reading.
Decide whether you want to just get your friends together or whether you want to open game night to anyone who wants to play. Keep in mind that opening it to anyone who wants to play means letting potential strangers into your home.
Find an area in your house that can hold the number of people you are going to have attending. Hosting a gaming night is like hosting any other party. Consider the number of people that you can easily accommodate, and be sure to provide enough snacks and drinks for everyone.
Make sure you have enough tables and chairs for everyone. No one is going to want to have to take turns playing at the kitchen table or resort to playing on the floor.
Invite your Magic the Gathering playing friends. If you are going to open the event to all gamers in your area, you will need to advertise the event. You can advertise via fliers or any other creative way you can think of. You just need to make sure people understand that your event is not an officially sanctioned Friday Night Magic event. Some gamers might not want to give up an official event, where they can improve their tournament rankings and win prizes, just for a friendly get-together.

How to Use Godaddy for Web HostingIn Feburary 2016 19,

In Feburary 2016 19,
Determine what you plan to use your Web site for. GoDaddy hosts small business and personal Web sites. Visit the GoDaddy 'Hosting Plans' Web page to view your options (see Resources below).
Decide how much storage and transfer capacity you need as well as how much you're willing to pay. Your storage and transfer needs will be dictated by how large your Web site will be and how much traffic you expect to get. You will also need to decide whether you will be using a Linux or Windows platform for your site.
Set Up a Hosting Account
Visit the GoDaddy home page (see Resources below). Give yourself a little more than two hours to set up the basics of your Web site. Simple details like password activations can take about 30 minutes to complete.
Drag the mouse over the section in green that reads 'Hosting and Servers' to begin the process of setting up your hosting account. Click on 'My Hosting Account.'
Select the highlighted option in blue called 'Setup New Account.' This will send you to the section to begin your Web site registration process.
Type in the requested information, such as address, phone number and name. If you are starting a small business, be sure to enter the applicable information.
Click on 'Create a New Account' to submit the information.
Select a package by checking the applicable box with your mouse. Finish up the process by clicking 'Checkout.' Then enter payment information.
Use Your Web Site
Create and upload your Web site. The software you use to create and upload your site will depend to some extent on the platform you chose. For example, if you choose a Windows platform, you can use FrontPage software to create and upload a site.
Access the Metropolis Hosting Community offered by GoDaddy to learn about, find or install third-party applications for your site.
Investigate some of the features GoDaddy offers in addition to standard features such as email addresses. For example, GoDaddy offers free blogging tools.

How to Host a Large Party in a Small HomeIn Feburary 2016 18,

In Feburary 2016 18,
Remove bulky furniture and clutter from all the rooms of your house and put them into the garage, basement, storage closet or laundry room. Keep your living room and all walking areas of your home clear and clutter free.
Remove books from your bookshelves and set up the bar on the freed shelves.
Designate one spare bedroom as the official coatroom for the party. As guests arrive, make sure the first thing they do is drop off their bulky jackets, coats and bags in that room.
On the day of the party, adjust the room temperature. If you’re using the air conditioner, turn it on before guests arrive so that your house feels a little cold. If you are using the heater, make sure the temperature is a little lower than it normally is. Once guests arrive, the temperature will warm rapidly.
Serve dinner buffet style. Set up the food on the dining room table, along kitchen counters and on larger cabinets and shelves in other areas of the house. Serve a menu that is easy for people to eat whether they are standing or balancing their plates on their laps.
Be sure to cook in advance so that you have time to clean and clear the kitchen before guests arrive. This will prevent traffic congestion.

How to Become a Web Hosting ResellerIn Feburary 2016 10,

In Feburary 2016 10,
Shop around for the best prices. Many well known web hosting companies offer wholesale space to resellers.
Choose a web hosting package. If it is a 'whole' package, you will need to decide how you want to split it up. (A 'whole' package comes in one big block of space, instead of several pre-split mini packages.) Once your package, set your prices.
Design your own website to sell the packages. You want people to know that you are a reliable web hosting seller and a professional looking website will send that message. If you can't design the site yourself, hire a professional designer.
Market your website anywhere you can. Forum signatures and link exchanges are great and affordable places to begin. This is an important step because there is a lot of competition in web hosting reselling and ads are the only way to bring in new customers. You can also use search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, so that your website will rank higher with major search engines.
Put 25 percent of your profit back into your business to buy more space, advertise and update your website.
