How to Make a Political Blog WebsiteIn Feburary 2016 29,

In Feburary 2016 29,
Decide how you would prefer to host your political blog. If you already have web server space of your own, you may simply be able to turn on a blogging plug in on your server admin panel. Most people, however, opt to use a hosted blog from a dedicated blogging site.
Choose the blogging software you want to use. Depending upon the hosting situation you prefer, this choice may have already been made for you. WordPress and MovableType are two of the most common choices if you are hosting your own blog, and are also an option if you prefer to host with them. Blogger, LiveJournal and Xanga are all options that include hosting as a part of a blog package, but cannot be used on your own web space. Take the time to compare features between the different packages. Look for easy photo uploading, convenient access and remote blog posting abilities.
Set up your blog. Proprietary blog services, including Blogger and TypePad, make this very easy. It takes only a few minutes to establish an account and set up your web address. If you are hosting your own blog, you will find that software installation is generally quite simple, particularly if your host offers one click blog software access.
Choose a template from the choices available with your blog software. You can also design your own blog template, depending upon the options available with your software and host. Paid blog services or hosting your own will allow you the most design freedom for your political blog.
Fill out personal profile or about me information. Keep personal confidentiality in mind, particularly if your political blog could put you at risk at work or elsewhere. If you are not using your real name, choose a pseudonym that fits with your political blogging.
Begin blogging. An interesting blog requires more than just writing. Include images, photos and interesting links to keep your political blog entertaining and informative to your readers. You may wish to consider advertising programs to bring in additional income from your new blog.

How to Insert a Time Stamp in PHP MySQLIn Feburary 2016 19,

In Feburary 2016 19,
Create a new field in your database. Open the 'phpMyAdmin' utility for your MySQL databases. Select the database of your choice from the left-hand menu. Select the table in which you wish to place the new time stamp field and click on the 'Structure' action item. Hit the 'Go' button next to the 'Add One New Field' selection.
Set the attributes of the new field. Under the 'Field' input box enter your new field's name. Name the field 'Timestamp.' Select the 'Type' drop-down bar and tag the 'Timestamp' options. This defines your new field as a 'Time Stamp.' Click on the 'Default' drop-down bar. If desired, select the 'Current_Timestamp' option. If selected, this option automatically creates a new time stamp whenever a new record is entered into your database. Now, click the 'Attributes' drop-down box. Select the 'On Update Current_Timestamp' menu item. If this option is selected, the time stamp field will update every time a change is made to your database record.
Save the changes. Select the 'Save' option at the bottom right-hand corner of the window. The changes to your database structure are now saved. From this point on, the time stamp field automatically populates each time a new record is entered.
Using PHP
Capture the current time using the PHP date function and assign it to a PHP variable. The PHP date function takes the current time and formats it according to a set of values that you enter. Consider this example:$current_time = date ('Y-m-d H:i:s');In this line of code, it calls the date function and enters the values which format the output into the format of year, month, day, hour, minute and second or '2012-12-21 06:26:36.' This is the exact time stamp format used by MySQL. In this example, the date is assigned to the current-time variable.
Insert the time stamp into the MySQL time stamp field of the database table of your choice. Use 'PHP's mysql_query' function to complete this step. Here is the example.$query = 'UPDATE
yourDatabaseTable
SET
timestamp
= '$current_time' WHERE
yourPrimaryKey
='$primary_key_variable' ';mysql_query($query) or die('The new time was not inserted');
Upload the PHP file to your server.

InterWorx Control Panel Vs. CPanelIn Feburary 2016 14,

In Feburary 2016 14,
Each service actually has two control panels. If you are running a hosting service, you get access to the server administration panel when you purchase InterWorx or cPanel. The InterWorx server control panel is NodeWorx. The cPanel control panel for the Web host is WebHost Manager. Website owners do not buy cPanel or InterWorx. Rather, they choose a Web host that provides one of these control panels. These website owners then get access to either the cPanel website control panel or InterWorx's SiteWorx.
Common Features
For Web hosts, common features found in both programs include the ability to create customized hosting packages for website owners, creation and management of new users, domain management, DNS management and the ability to offer reseller hosting.Website owners will find many of the same features in their control panels. Examples include email accounts, website statistics, subdomains, a file editor for editing in plain text and HTML, a file manager, FTP accounts for uploading files to websites, password protection for your website pages and backup options in case you lose data. Both control panels also provide for add-on domains, which are domains hosted under the same hosting package to save money. Both control panels also support cron jobs, PHP, MySQL and SSL.
Added Features
Each control panel offers a few things not provided by its competitor. For example, cPanel has FrontPage extensions, which allow you to directly upload files from FrontPage to your website. The cPanel product also provides several video tutorials for website owners. Services providing hosting for gaming sites can also choose the cPanel Game Server. Web hosts using Windows servers instead of Linux can choose cPanel's Enkompass control panel. InterWorx integrates the APF iptables firewall system for Web hosts. Web hosts can also use InterWorx to import entire domains previously hosted in cPanel, InterWorx or other control panels.Installation programs simplify the process of building a website, blog or similar features. To help website owners, cPanel uses the Fantastico Deluxe installation program, while InterWorx uses SimpleScripts. You can compare the list of available programs from these installation services to see which one you prefer.
Languages
Website owners in some countries may prefer a control panel due to language availability. At the time of publication, both services offer versions in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and French. However, cPanel offers Iberian Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, as well. Other languages that only cPanel offers include Arabic, Hindi, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Russian and Chinese. However, only InterWorx offers Slovak, Hungarian, Italian, Turkish, Swedish and Czech.
Price
As of the time of publication, the InterWorx monthly license is about $25, and the yearly license is about $250. Support is included, but you must pay $50 for installation. Conversely, the cPanel yearly license is about $400, which includes installation and support. For an additional $200 per installation per year, you can get VPS Optimized2, which enhances performance while reducing memory usage. There is no cPanel monthly license. You can also get InterWorx for life for about $300. However, support ceases on that license after the first six months. An additional six months of support is available for $50. Both companies have authorized resellers or distributors. In that case, the price varies.

How to Throw a Successful Lunch PartyIn Feburary 2016 11,

In Feburary 2016 11,
Choose a theme for your lunch party. Pick a theme that you can have fun with, such as a beach-themed party.
Send out invitations at least four to six weeks before the lunch party, which will give guests plenty of time to plan ahead for your event. Choose colorful invitations, create fliers, send out an email or verbally invite everyone by phone. Regardless of whether the lunch party is for co-workers, friends or family members, it's essential that you ask guests to RSVP so that you know how many people will be attending.
Set a budget for the lunch party once you know how many people will be attending. To throw a successful lunch party, you'll need to provide guests with a variety of tasty food options without putting yourself into a financial bind.
Prepare a menu that features food appropriate for lunch, such as sandwiches, salads, vegetables and appetizers. It is also important to have a variety of foods available to ensure that you can accommodate everyone's diets and food preferences.
Select appropriate beverages for your lunch party. Water, iced tea and soda are fine choices. Decide whether to serve alcohol. If you are on a tight budget, you may elect to not serve alcohol, which can be costly. Additionally, if you are hosting a lunch party at work, serving alcohol may not be appropriate. If you do choose to serve alcohol, keep them light and refreshing, and avoid hard liquors and dark wines, which are typically more potent.
Purchase decorations that accent your theme. For example, if you are throwing a beach-themed party, serve beverages in sand pails filled with ice, or fill vases with seashells to use as table centerpieces.
Prepare the food, which can be done the night before or the morning of the event. If you do not have time to prepare food, schedule a catering service a week before the party, and ask them to deliver the food at least a half-hour before the start time of your event. Since you will have a variety of foods, arrange the plates on the table buffet-style.
Entertain your guests. It is not necessary to have a disc jockey at your lunch party, but do liven the mood by playing music for your guests. Set up a table for card or board games so that guests can sit down and enjoy their lunch over a game. If you are holding a picnic lunch party, choose outdoor games that will encourage guests to socialize.

you can add meeting times, reminders or any other notes on that day. If done correctly it should look like this:
Sun
Don't forget to goto meeting at 6:30

This simple editor allows you to write and edit HTML code and to save it as a web page for later viewing. Differences Between SQL SQL ExpressIn Feburary 2016 08,

In Feburary 2016 08,
SQL Server can have up to eight processors and 2 terabytes (TB) of memory, while SQL Express has only one processor and a maximum of 1 gigabyte (GB) of RAM, where 1 TB equals 1,000 GB. Also, SQL Express can have only a maximum of 10 GB of database size, while the SQL Server can have a maximum of 524 petabytes (PB), where one PB equals 1,000 TB. SQL Server allows for more scalability in its database because it has a lot of room to store data.
Availability
SQL Server is more readily available than SQL Express. In an unlikely event that the database gets corrupted, SQL Server provides more options for backing up the entire database. Mirrored backups and database snapshots that can capture the daily state of the database are available for SQL Server. This allows for faster recovery and restoration of data. Memory and processor support is also available for SQL Server in case of a server failure.
Security
Both SQL Server and SQL Express provide high security. They employ data encryption policies and build firewalls around the server to prevent data from being hacked or stolen. One difference between the two when it comes to security is that SQL Server provides an added protection in the event that the physical hard drive containing the database itself is stolen. With Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) it doesn't simply encrypt the database, but also protects the keys that are used to decrypt the database. It uses a certificate to protect the keys and, without it, the physical hard drive is useless.
Integration and Operability
SQL Server provides more room for integrating with other software products. It can replicate data for Oracle databases and supports Web services. It allows for easy exporting and importing of data from different sources, which is not available in SQL Express. The SQL Server can perform complex queries and extract information from large databases. It also provides development tools to edit and design the database. It's more programmable and suited for database developers because it provides all the necessary tools to customize the database.

How to Fix an FTP ConnectionIn Feburary 2016 06,

In Feburary 2016 06,
Conduct a system scan for any computer viruses, spyware or malware. These problems will affect Internet performance and could interrupt an FTP connection. Consult the documentation included with the various computer scanning programs for directions on how to run a full system scan.
Verify that the user name and password used in the FTP connection options are correct. This information is available from the hosting company inside the account's control panel.
Verify that the connection type is correct. Some FTP clients will allow you to connect using an anonymous connection, normal connection or account connection. Start by choosing to use the normal connection. Check with your hosting provider if you are unsure of which connection type to choose and need additional assistance.
Contact your Internet service provider about the FTP connection problem to inquire whether it has any special settings or programs that are required for use.
Check the firewall settings on your computer to see whether the FTP client is on a list of blocked programs. Windows firewall settings are updated upon installation of the FTP client. However, other antivirus programs, such as Eset Nod 32, will require you to manually configure a list of sites that may access the Internet freely.
